Dear Experts,

Need your kind advice please.

Me and my spouse wanted to start with our PCC process. We stay at our respective residences (As per the passport), haven't moved in together yet but we are legally married.

Is it okay if we get our PCC done with our current addresses, or is it mandatory to move in together and then get PCC done from our new residence.

Your help is much appreciated.

Just visit you nearest Passport Office and get a PCC from there. PCC from Passport Office does not mentions any address and is valid PAN India. It’s recognised by CIC and valued much more than the normal PCC from Police.

Apply for PCC from same address. Address in Passport is no longer Important. You can apply with a new address together.
Indian PCC from PSK is not bound to address.
