Hi there,
I am currently residing in Toronto and going to apply for PR soon on getting invitation. If someone can please share a sample of PCC needed for the PR application that is provided by the Indian Embassy in Toronto.
I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure I follow why you need a "template" of the PCC. They provide PCC if you apply - you don't have to provide them with a template for them to issue you a PCC.

Yes, I know i dont need to provide them with a template. The BLS Canada service here in toronto which issues the PCC takes a lot of time and its a hassle to get things done from them. So, I am planning to get the PCC done from India from my local district police station instead. So, I need a sample / template of the PCC provided by the Indian embassy here. So, that I can get a PCC in the same format from India through my family.

Unlike other documents, there is no PCC template. This is because each country has its own government police seal, its own letter format. Every country's police certificate is different.

Please tell me if I'm wrong in my thinking.

Please do not go for local police station issued PCC s. Not recommended. They are time/geography bound (sometimes) and hence might result in rejection (one member -mumbai11 from the forum was rejected because of that). It is recommended that you get it done via PSK.

But then, since you are not in India and you need to submit your original PP to PSK to get PCC, that's not going to work (plus, you are a non-resident of India currently so I don't think this option will suit you anyway). Your best course of option would be to apply to bls and wait!

Ohh Ok. Thank you so much for your advise. Just had one more query that even if i get the PCC done from the state police department (Delhi Police Service Department), even then it can be rejected? Because when I came to Canada 2 yrs ago, I got the PCC done from there. And since when I came here I have only been residing in Canada.

See the concept here is - one country, one PCC. Sometimes, these local police issued PCC s are time/geography bound. If Delhi police issues a PCC that is not time or geography bound, then, its cool! But, I still don't understand how you think you will be able to get a PCC from India. They will not just issue you a PCC because you are now resident overseas and you have to get it done through the concerned embassy/consulate.

Also, I believe that if you never went to India after you landed in Canada, you might be able to use the same PCC you used last time. However, I recommend you to get a fresh one.
