Hi Forum Members,

I applied for my PR through CEC in July 2013 and received my AOR in Sept 2013.
I got the file number, but the email does not mention which visa office the file is transferred to.
I would like to attach my PCC to my application.

So i called up the call centre to check if i must send my PCC to CIO-Sydney or CPP-Ottawa.
The call centre agent said he cannot access my application information until the Application is transferred
to the Visa office and my application might still be in Sydney office.

I wrote an email to Sydney office to confirm where my application is currently
so that i can mail my original PCCs. I think it will take them 20 business days to respond.

My PCC is dated Aug 6th 2013 and will expire (more than 3 months old) by then. I will have to apply for a new PCC if i wait for the request from CIC at a later stage if i do not send my PCC now.

So i am turning to this forum for help.
Any advice on how i must proceed ?

Do i send my PCCs to CPP-Ottawa even though my application might still be in CIO-Sydney ?
Will CPP-O match my PCC to my application when the file gets transferred to Ottawa ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Steps you need to do :
1.Make a notarized copy of pcc in case u need it.
2.Scan that copy and mail it to ottawa. They will reply u with maximum 20 days period.
3.Send the copy of your PCC by 20th october to ottawa. They wil probably reply ur email before that asking to send original copy.

Your PCC will not expire, the 3 month rule states that the PCC cannot be more than 3 months old at the time of application (July 2013), meaning it cannot have been issued before April 2013.

In any case, since you have your AOR, you can send them to Ottawa (assuming you are in Canada).
