PCC processing time

Hi,

I had renewed my passport and I received a sms stating police cleared my verification. My wife too got her renewed passport today and her police verification is pending. Based on experience, her verification will happen in next 2-3 days and she too should receive "PV cleared" message in 2-3 weeks. We have until 23 June to submit our e-APR.

My question is, now that our passports have spouse names and current address. How much time will PSK take to issue PCC (Provided PVR for our passport has been cleared).

Any first hand experience in similar case?

If you've already gone through this process, relax!

Just take an appointment at the PSK and it'll be given to you on the spot. The entire process at the PSK takes about 1.5 hours or so (depending on the rush). Someone has very nicely documented it here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...rance-certificate-for-bangalore-india.263308/

I did it late last year and the process hasn't changed at all. I entered the PSK at 9:00 AM and I was done within an hour and a half.

Thanks.. I'll still need to wait till my wife's PV is done and PVR is issued as "cleared". We'll both take the appointments on same day/date. I am glad to find that PCC at PSK is give within hours.
