PCC from US for Indian applicant--Surprise..need ur input

Hi All,

Lots of ppl of Indian origin applied for Canada immigration and for that obtain PCC thru Indian consulate here..I am trying to have an idea how long does it take...some inputs would have helped me a lot to estimate as I am trying to send my docs to Buffalo..2nd week of August.

If apply tomorrow , if the person hail from rural India, they will have to go to district HQ of police and then to village level PS. So in a case like this how long does it take...I am little worried about it....please need you 2 cents...

I read some where here in forum, a perosn got PCC from indian embassy in 7 days? maybe I am wrong, sorry but couldnt remember exectly, there is above search box, type Indian PCC and you will get bunch of posts related to this. Otherwise, wait and hopefully soon some one will reply you. Good luck.
