Thanks for the support so far..
I am applying PR from india..Whomshould i contact for PCC clearance?

The reason i asked this is, in the CIC website, it has been mentioned that i should contact india consulate..

And my friend advised me to contact local police station..
I am in confusion which one will be Valid as well as Faster....Seniors, please advise ASAP.

Consulate will issue PCC only if you are outside India. You have to follow the procedure stated in the link to get PCC if you are applying from India.

As per the other posts, it has been obsrved that, they are taking morethan 2 months to complete PCC..I need it in lessthan 1 month..
Can you or anyone else suggest alternate way?

If you are applying for your PR from India, I dont think it is going to take more than 2 weeks to get the PCC.
