Hi

Have anyone applied to US PCC from bangalore?

Hey ! Yes I have applied for FBI USA PCC from Bangalore! Please refer to this website for instructions
http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/submitting-an-identity-history-summary-request-to-the-fbi

Also I got my finger printing done at this place

http://www.fingerprintingexpertbangalore.com/

It was successful at my first attempt. I got 2 separate sets of finger prints and sent them both to FBI. He charged me 4k INR for 2 sets. The total processing time was 3months and 10 days from the time I submitted my package to the time I received the PCC in mail. Hope this helps !

I did... I used Truth Labs at Manipal Center for getting my finger prints.... they charged 1500 only for a set of prints... cheapest that I found here...

Thanks for the info guys!

hi guys...sorry for the noob post, but is there any particular reason y'all went for the US PCC? Is it for US immigration or Canada? If for Canada, is it because you spent a certain amount of time in the US prior to application?

Its because I spent 6 months+ in USA in the last 10 years

You need a PCC from all the countries where you have lived in for more than 6 months from the age of 18..

I applied because my wife has spent 6+ months in US in total, but not in a row. So I applied for it 20 days after submitting my PR application, due to new rule on Feb 11.
CIC hasn't asked for it yet though.

Hi PavS,

Can you please write all the steps ? Did Truth labs give you the complete file with form filled or just the fingerprint card ?

If just the finger print card then what forms did you fill?

This is the info i could gather :

1. I-783 filled form (Identity History Summary Checks Review)
2. D-258 fingerprint card with all finger prints.
3. 18$ fee - How was this done ? Money order or certified cheque ? And in whose name?

Packed all together and send to :

FBI CJIS Division Summary Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306

Did you get your PCC now ? How long did it take ?
