PCC for undocumented address-India

I am from Punjab living with my spouse in Ghaziabad. Our passports and Adhaar have Punjab address.
For PCC, we plan to approach Ghaziabad PSK. Is it ok if we only have Bank Passbook with current address?
I called up PSK help line twice and got two different advices.

Your Ghaziabad address should be fine as you are currently residents of Ghaziabad.
