Hi everyone,

Reading through the forum, i noticed some people saying that we must get an up-to-date PCC for all the countries we resided in. If i read the second point below, it does not sound right. The second point says that as long as the cert has been issued after you resided there for more than 6 months, it should be fine. We don't have to get a brand new cert for that country. Can you please correct me if i am reading it wrong?

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.

Yes, your interpretation is correct.

You only need a recent PCC for the country you're currently residing in, for former countries of residence, you just need a PCC which covers until the end of your residence there.
