PCC for India - Confusion

Hello guys,

I have a PCC from Delhi which I got in November 2017. The only confusion is that it was used for my Australian work visa and it is addressed to the Australian High Commission.

Can I use this same certificate for the express entry? I currently live in Melbourne, Australia.

Have you been back to India since Nov 2017 and stayed longer than six months? If not, then you can use this with a Letter of Explanation. The PCC itself is valid, even though it's addressed to Australia.

If you did go back to India, you will need a new PCC from a date after your visit.

For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.
