Hey guys,

I quickly wanted to check with you about this.
I just calculated the cumulative time my wife was in the UK on work.

She went to the UK thrice on work/ business visa over 5 years . And stayed there cumulatively for 5 months 2 weeks in total.

I've been reading on the forums that although CIC says that one needs a PCC from any country if they stay there for more than 6 months in a row, there have been cases where candidates were asked to provide PCC for cumulative time too.

But here since the cumulative time is less than 6 months for her.. what do you suggest? Should we still àpply for a UK PCC?

The answer is that if you have not stayed there for six months in a row, you will not be asked to provide a PCC initially, however a visa officer may request one later.

IRCC's website literally says that you should consider ordering one just in case, to not delay applications.

Thank You @k.h.p. I just saw an example in the website mentioning the same scenario. Thanks a lot. I might just order one just in case.
Cheers!
