PCC certificate from India

Hi Guys,

I applied for PCC certificate on passport seva kendra website online.
The latest appointment i could get is for 17th July.
Also i read somewhere that for PCC we dont have to take appointment but on website its mandatory :-\
I am not sure how much time they take to issue the PCC certificate.

Has any other forum member got the PCC issued recently from passport office in india can share his experience?

Also i m thinking of attaching the PCC certificate later on when CIC requests for it?(as caps filling fast)

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.
Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

you can submit PVC form local SP office (you can get it within 1-2 days) if you are not from punjab

even you can submit your app with PCC and submit it later

so if everything is ready do not wait send app

thanks for your suggestion vats..

i went to SP office today..
i need to fill up the form...give them the required docs and 100/- cash.
They told me that PCC will be issued within 28 days.
I must get a call from my local police station within 15 days.
If not i must follow it up with them.
After police verification is done i can come and collect the PCC certificate after 1 week from SP office itself.

Lets hope i will get within 28 days or by 1 week of July.
Fingers crossed and thanks a lot again for your valuable advice.

hay you can say them its urgent and ofcourse they will charge (not offical but its like that only there)
I have seen many get in 1-2 days with @ 400-500INR extra

if your present address is same as that on your passport, then you can fill the form, print it out make the payment and directly walk in to your local psk and your PCC will be issued on the same day.
check for the supporting documents, you have to carry necessary on the passport seva kendra website.

nope. passport can be issued anytime. if present address is same as on the PP, then PCC can be obtained in a day !

first step you send your doc for Education Credential form WES

what is your NOC?
based upon that we can predict tentative duration about filling CAP

fund officially required for full process is at max 150000 INR for family of 3
and you need to show settlement fund which is pre requireemnt

What you guys suggest?

first start with WES report, as it consumes some significant amount of time.
after sending wes docs, download the CIC checklist and prep on the docs. and fill out forms. make sure, you fill them right.
managing FSW VISA , with little funds can be a huge task, so prepare yourself you show POF in your bank for the entire duration.
and NEVER LOOSE HOPE ! ;D

Hi!!!! Thnx a lot for reply ..dear .Mr. Hope and mr. vats my NOC is 0111 ....or can be 0112.. .I m development manager in a MNC. recruiting people and generagenerating business through them is my duty.....I think my jobjob falls in thiscatagory....although I have done my MBA in marketing field..
1.university handed me a page with all the details on it in sealed envelop that's it..
2. all my degree s and semesters photo copies I HV to send to wes ....
Should all these be attested and should these be in special envelope???
