Hello under employment records it says provide reference letter and paystubs if available. I could not collect paystubs from an old employer but i have the reference letter stating my salary-will that be sufficient evidence? Do I need to write any letter to officer stating i do not have the paystubs?

The reference letter is essential. Paystubs are supplementary. Paystubs are not required to be submitted.
