Is it fine if the payslips are just attested by a notary public rather than the company HR?

Any idea how CIC reacts to this?

Generally the payslips are computer generated and the copy of those Payslips attested from Notary (with 'RED', "VALID INSIDE/OUTSIDE INDIA" stamp) should work fine, that's how I used them.

I went for attestation in India for RED stamp and I was shocked to hear that notary guys charge Rs 150 per stamp.... with around 40-45 copies, it will cost a lot :-(

If u r attaching detailed work experience letter, no need to attach payslips

If u want to notarize the payslips, go to lawyer and ask him to do simple attestation (certified true copy) with his seal or stamp of designation and name

U need to negotiate for that also. I had done simple attestation @ Rs.7 per copy in 2010 (don't know the rate now)
