Do i need to provide my payment stubs for salary proof or is it as good to provide last 6 months bank statement.

Do i need to provide my payment stubs for salary proof or is it as good to provide last 6 months bank statement.

If your work reference letter has salary details, there is no need to provide paystubs. But in case work reference letter doesn't have salary details than documents like appointment letter or appraisal letter with salary details can be used. In the absence of above paystubs are needed.

Do not expect the visa officers to go through bank statements and figure out which transaction is your salary payment unless your account has only one transaction and it is easy to see.
