Hi,
I had made a payment to CIC of CAD 550 to include my wife as part of PR application. They sent me a letter saying they need payment in the form of Cashier's check and they do not accept credit cards.

Since when did they change the mode of payment acceptance?

Please guide.

Thanks
Paul

Found it: Buffalo office does not accept credit cards...should have checked this before.

Re: Payment modes to CIC? --- PMM Please help

Hi,

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/fees-frais_buffalo.aspx

I found this link where it says (At bottom): "All applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker Class must pay their application processing fees to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney Nova Scotia. Do not submit the Right of Permanent Residence fee until it is requested by the Visa Office."

My application is "In process" with Buffalo office. I sent them processing fee for my wife with Credit Card info. They want a cashier check. Now, where do I send them the cashier check??????? BUffalo or Nova Scotia (?)

This is confusing. Please HELP!
