Paying Fees - Confusion?

Finally getting ready to send our application in on Monday but am confused about paying the fees.

My wife is in Japan, I'm here in Toronto. Can I pay online for both? According to http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/fees-frais.aspx there is information for Japan? I thought the Japanese office was closed and everything goes through Manila?

Can anybody shed any light on this? Is it possible to pay everything for our outland spousal application online? Or do I pay mine to Mississauga and my wife's to Manila? Or Tokyo?

Pay for everything in one go as a single payment. It should probably come to $1040 CAD. Do it online and submit the receipt with the application.

That makes sense.

But am I missing something? on the fee schedule here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp number 3, "Spouse or Common Law Partner - In Canada Class" says $75 for Sponsor Application and $475 for Principal Applicant...? And it's the same price for #2 Application for Visas and Permits - Permanent Resident Visa.

Does your wife have dependents? If yes are they going to accompany her to Canada?
If yes , fees will have to include that too.

You need #2 + #4 not #3.

Please pay $1,040 CAD should you have no dependent children accompanying you. Complete payment helps facilitate the process.

No dependants. Just her.

So from what I understand, I pay my application fee as sponsor, my wife's application as primary applicant and then the issuing fee for the actual permanent resident status?
