Hi,

I was refused a tourist visa in the UK because it was discovered the tax documents I sent were fraud. This happened on March 2012. Will this affect my chances of permanent/provincial immigration to Canada this year?

Notes:
Mentioned I was refused a tourist visa in my SK provincial nomination and Australian tourist visa. They didn't bother asking the circumstances and got both...

I'm sorry to write this but I think it could affect your chances. Be honest, own up to your mistakes and you may get a kind VO.

Past visa refusals wouldn't affect your PR application unless said refusals are indicative of a criminal record.

Thanks. I hope misinterpretation doesn't technically count as a criminal record.
