Hi guys,
So I got the email that invited me to link my account online and continue on with my application.

The next step told me i had to fill out the Schedule A background application (IMM 5669 E) and also get my finger prints taken and checked by the FBI and RCMP.

The problem is my husband and I had a lot of issues linking our account and understanding the directions so we are NOW PAST THE 30 DAY DUE DATE.

Help we are very nervous and dont want out apllocation to be denied.

Does anyone know what happens after you are past the due date? We are still waiting for our fingerprints, will CIC still accept? Any tips?? I tried writing a letter on the web form and dont know if an actual person will get it.

I just want to know that i can still turn in my stuff and all our hard work wont be for nothing!

Why didn't you sent an email direct to your VO explaining your situation and asked for extension?
 
I too wasn't able to link my husbands application but was able to upload the documents through the webform when I logged in. I did so by trying to link my application, when it didn't work I clicked on the "report a technical issue" link, wrote to them explaining that I cant link the application and the documents were requested, scanned them and uploaded them there and sent it. They sent an email verifying that they had received it within a couple of days. I suggest you do that ASAP.

If the schedule A and PCC are just being requested, they likely have not been transferred to their VO yet.
 
Did you link your account? The Schedule A & PCC request letter contains instructions that state you should upload a letter of explanation and your PCC request receipt instead of your actual PCC onto your account if you need an extension. However, if you submitted it via the web form already then you should be fine.
