Hello all, We are waiting for final decision or passport request but the applicant's passport is only valid for 11 months and will expire December 2019, Do we need to renew it soon or wait for our visa office to request a new one? How many months is the validity of passport for the visa? Our file is in Manila visa office. Thanks!

So it is not actually 12 months? I was told by someone that when they got PPR its in the letter that it has to be 12 months. Thank you for clarification.

By the way just in case it has reached 6 months , does the visa office request a renewed one?

I dont know because its quite clear from the beginning that at the time of stamping the visa must be valid for at least 6 months. As we complied i cant say what happens

Hello,
I have a question regarding the passport too. I and my partner will apply for spousal inland+OWP. But by the time we submit our application, my passport will have less than a year validity. I'm not sure how long it'll take before I can get PR, but I heard that if I'll get approval for OWP the validity of it will depend on my passport expiration date.
1. Does anyone know what to do in this situation?
2. Can I apply with my current passport, then after submit my new passport copy online?
