passport with CHC nre delhi

hey all
our passport for Immigrant visa are already with Canadian embassy in New delhi from last few months..now our passports are valid only till this june and my question is will CHC new delhi issue visa on 2 months valid passport and on airport will immigration let us travell on 2 months valid passport?????can anyone suggest on dat or anybody with similar case????

My advice would be to send an email to CIC and inform them about the situation. Request them to return your passport, get it renewed and then send the new passport back to CIC (along with the cancelled old passport). Apart from the delay in getting the passports renewed there not be significant delays in getting your visa stamped on the new passport.
