Hi there, I've just received the Ready for Visa email asking to send passports to be stamped (Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker). In the email they say the passports must be valid for 6 months. The problem is that my son's passport expires in 5 months because in our country (Brazil) children less than 1 year old can only have a passport valid for 1 year.
I've read in IRCC website that the 6 month validity should be in the day of the application (the passport had 8 months validity).
The COPRs were issued valid until May 11 2026 (the same date my son's passport expire), so anyone knows how should I proceed? Can I send the passport as is or should I renew it and let IRCC know? I'm afraid this can take some time and I can lose the 30 days timeline to send the passport.
