Passport Validity for visa

Hi Guys,
I got the passport request letter today.
I noticed that my passport should be valid at least for 12 months from the date of this letter but unfortunately, it is valid for 11 months and 24 days.
Now I'm wondering is it acceptable or I have to renew my passport?
