my passport will expire in FEB 2013 ,

till when i am eligible to apply for visa?

You may renew your visa I think .. But I request to confirm it from a professional

According to CHC ur passport will expire on Agust 2012.

I mean to say that we have only 4 years and six month allow to play on our passport.

This rule is applicable only in case you are applying to USA, in Canada you get visa stamped upto the validity of your passport.

Yes, you should apply if this is possible and easy for you because you will get visa and post graduate work permit only up to the validity of your passport. And doing renewal from Canada is really a pain in A.

so its mean my passport still valid for 9 more month
