Passport submission location for Visitor visa (TRV) applied from Inside Canada

Hi,

I had applied for Visitor visa (TRV) from Inside Canada which got approved today and IRCC has requested my passport to be submitted within 30 days. However I plan to travel outside Canada to my home country for a month next week. Can someone please let me know if I can submit my passport for stamping from home country or whether this needs to be done in Canada only?
