Passport returned without stamp

Hello everyone
I am in a huge problem.. The thing is I got my ppr after 5 months.. I hadn't done medical checkup so I thought they might send me the medical request anytime soon so I waited 1 week and got no update so I submitted my passport but it was returned after 2.5week stating 'Passport request letter was sent in error. The application is still in process'
My ppr letter will be invalid in 4 days now. So what should I do? I still have got no updates on medical or any other letter. Will my ppr get cancelled because of this? Has this happen to anyone before?
