I had submitted my passport in the ny VAC center on Apr06. The status shows as 'Passport Received by the Visa Office - Under Consideration' for the last 4 days. I expected it to be available for pick up sometime this week but looks like there is significant delays. Can anyone share your timelines after submitting passport in ny VAC.
My wife needs to travel out of the US for an emergency this saturday , is there a way to pickup the passport even if its not stamped. The call center numbers are basically useless.
