Hello all,

I've just received passport request from LA office. On the email, they said:

"For Persons residing in Canada

If you are the principal applicant, you may appear alone.

You must bring the passport(s) for yourself and each accompanying family member. All visas will be issued at the same time.
You can effect your landing upon your re-entry to Canada.
Your accompanying family member(s) can effect their landing by later appearing at a Canadian Port-of-Entry before their visas expire.

or

You can appear with all accompanying family members and effect all landings at the same time upon your re-entry to Canada."

Does that mean that I don't have to send my passport to LA office but go straight to the border to receive the visa and to land?

Thank you so much for your advice!!

The Canadian boarder office (BSA) will not issue the visa. The visa office asked you to be present at their office together with all the passports or with your family, so that you or every one, can return to Canada and complete the "landing" procedure to become PR at the same day.

Hi al3xnguyen,

Congrats for your PPR......What was your status in E-cas when you got the passport request..
