Id like to know from you , usually when they request the passport, do they give time ? Is it possible to have about 2 months extension?

It is 30 days. You can try contacting the VO for extension, but not sure if they will approve.

If you can't submit your passport within the deadline, send them a letter with a detailed explanation why you are not able to submit.
