Passport request received.

Hey experts
I got a question. I made a profile in express entry n while waiting, I Applied for a temporary visitors visa to go to Canada as I wanted to visit the country and see few things. Unfortunately my visa got denied but luckily I got the invitation to poly for PR under the express entry and tomorrow I will be sending my passport. While celebrating this news with my family , my cousin thinks I should inform the Canada visa center about my temporary resident visa application denial orelse it may lead to
Misrepresentation and I may have a problem later on since we are suppose to inform the IRCC about any changes in status or financial situation.
Just need your inputs on my situation before I send ma passport for visa.

Was your visitor visa denied before you applied for the PR after the invitation to apply?

If it was, then you should have declared the visa refusal through your PR application.

If the denial happened after you had completed the application for PR, then you are actually okay.

Were they to suspect you of misrepresentation, your PR application would have been refused before the passport request.
