I'd like to inquire if anyone knows how long can you submit your passport once you receive the passport request. In the letter it says you can only submit within 30days as failure to do so could result to refusal of application. However in my situation i received the passport request last October 24 and my return flight to Ph is oct 23. Im afraid i wont meet the 30days grace period. I called the VFS Philippines and they said its okay because the allowed period is 45days. I dont know how i can rely to this verbal information. Can someone confirm if i can submit passport within 45days from the date of passport request or do i need to provide explanation letter why i wasnt able to submit within 30days. Thank you.
