passport request and need to exit soon but i have restoration status?

I do have a passport request last 3 days and need to exit soon in canada and us border after passport return but i have restoration status? Will it affect my exit? Is there any problem for that?

Work permit expired: july 2015
Work permit applied: august 2015 (restoration status)
Passport request: august 2015
