Passport renewal...

My passport has to be renewed/changed now as I cannot travel on it anymore, new passports has been issued for my country. ( I have not travelled for 2.5 years since in Canada) Do I have to send this new passport information (numbers) to Immigration Canada once it has been changed. My PR card (not yet received) and immigration document in Canada has old passport number.

Can anybody advise me on this matter?

Hi, Seems that you submitted an Inland application, landed already and waiting for PR Card. There is no harm in sending a renewed passport copy to them.

If you've already landed as a PR you don't need to send CIC anything new.
