I applied for passport renewal and as I opted for the address change, I got an email initially by the Indian High Commission saying that it has been sent for police verification. But today when I checked on BLS website, the status got updated to "In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre ". This happened without the police visiting at my place. So, I am wondering what does it mean?
