How many passport pictures does my Husband need to send in with the initial paper work? We got the medical exam done already.

You need to check your document checklist of your region specific forms. That will tell you. Also there is a difference between passport photos & immigration photos.

My husband is from New Hampshire US. I can't seem to find anywhere how many he needs. Not even on the check list. I have seen anywhere from 2-5

Should be 4 pictures, but it won't hurt to send a couple extra.

You need to send 4 pictures.
