passport photos

How many photos are needed for applying outland through Buffalo? I will be going for a medical on Mon and they said I need 3 for them, plus the 4 smaller ones from Appendix B in the country specific forms. Is this correct or am i missing something?

I think for medical it seems to just be up to whoever is doing it. The doctor they told me to go to is in Pittsburgh and they want 5 passport photos. The 4 immigration sized photos are for CIC I believe.

yes, a couple of doctors that I've called around have said 4 and others have said 3. So, I just wanted to make sure.
