Passport needed visa approved /not approved doesn't matters

Hi , I am in bit difficult situation. I am from India and I had applied for Canada's visitor's visa 15 days back but yet no response .Status shows that my visa is under process at Chandigarh Office. I was told by VFS guys that it can take maximum 7-10 days as I already have US work visa. Now my big problem is that I have a flight to catch to US in next couple of days. Visa approved or not approved for Canada doesn't matters now , I just require my passport back . How can I get it .


Please help !!!!
 
i Rohit , thanks for your answer . My problem is that I dont have much time . I have a flight to catch in 3 days . Do you have any idea how can I get my passport back in worst case scenario . I have already written to chadg-cs@international.gc.ca about this 2 days back but no reply so far. :(
 
How about postpone your flight? Otherwise, worst case is "no show up".

Chandigarh's posted processing time is 20 days.
 
I was told by VFS Global that it will take 5-7 days on an average otherwise 15 days maximum . I feel so much stucked at the moment :(

Please help ... there should be a way to get the passport back , I don't care if they approve / disapprove the visa .
 
Did you email the visa office yet? It's the weekend so they obviously won't see your message until Monday.
 
Email to visa office was sent on Thursday(18th Sept) on the following id -
chadg-cs@international.gc.ca

Please help someone ! I just require my passport back . VFS guys are not helping at all ... Chandigarh consulate not replying through mail !!!! What to do ?

After so much of pain which has gone through last few days , lot of email and calling ... finally my passport is back !!! And visa is also approved :D
