Hello,

Some stamped pages of my passport become unclear and unreadable, the other pages are still very clear. Fortunately, I still keep a scanned copy of my passport that includes those pages in clear condition (I scanned my passport before). Therefore, can I use my old passport for PR application? or Should I request a new passport?

Many thanks in advance!

It is better to request a new one before you start the PR application. Because, when they request for your passport and find that the scanned copy you provided are damaged, they may reject the application.

Thanks Santhkum90 for your response. How about if I submit old passport now and update new passport later with a letter of explanation to avoid delay? my passport has some damage water for accident and the new passport will have no travel stamps.

I think that would work as well
