Passport for 4 year old

I have recently received a mail from the Counsulate in Delhi to provide my medicals and passports.

My youngest son who is 4 years of age and has photograph on his passport which is more than 3 years old which according to rules should not be submitted.

Has any one gone through the same sitauation before?
Should I be going for a new passport for him or is there some way to update his photographs?

One of my constraints are that I have just 2 months in hand to finish my 6 years in US and need to respond in 45 days.


Any suggestions?

There is a Miscellanous Request Form available where u can get the service of putting in the kid,s latest photo. You can do thru consulate.
