So just to confirm it doesn't matter how much time you have till your passport expires. The single entry visa will be issued as per your passport expiry.

once they ask for PPR -

1-Lets say my passport expires in 4 months then i will be issued single entry visa of 4 months ?

Or

2-your passport must be valid for 6 months or is it 1 year ?

Medicals must be valid for at least 6 months while submitting the application. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months when sending it out after PPR.
