Hi everyone,

We just received a passport copy request. As per its instructions, it said:

You must submit a legible copy of your valid travel document which you will use to travel.

If you have a passport, you must provide a copy of:

  • the page that shows your birth date and country of origin, and
  • any pages with stamps, visas or markings.
So we sent a copy of the page which showed the birth day and country of origin, etc. And we specified on the copy page that there are no pages contained within this passport with stamps, visas, markings, or entries.

Considering that we already sent a copy of both of our latest travel passports to IRCC since this April, why are they asking for a passport again for my spouse? What does this mean? Please advise. Thanks.

Regards,
Gopunj
