Decision Made on Ecas 29 Dec'14
Dear all, it was a pleasant surprise for me that my ecas status has changed to In Process from RBVO after a long looong time on 27th september. In the mean time SVO has requested some additional documents from me. But few days back my wife has got a new passport (MRP). so to inform that new development about passport, what additional things and papers I need to send to them. thanking you in advance.

Hi, Well i am from Pakistan and unaware if there are any specific requirements for the Singapore office but i had the same situation where i have renewed the passports of me and my family members (My case is being processed in the Canadian High Commission, London, United Kingdom). What i simply done is that i took the photocopies of all the passports and written a letter (addressing the "Immigration Section") and mentioned that i have renewed my passports and sending you the copies of the new and you are kindly requested to update my records and thats all. Alternatively, you can also send them an email and ask them what to do but to remain on the safe side, better send them the copies without asking them. DONT FORGET PLUS 1 FOR ME :D :D

That was really good and helpful post. Thanks. Did you notarized the copy of the passport?

No need to notarize.
Jus send simple copies or if you want to be on the safe side you can do it.
