Sorry to disturb again but in the document checklist for a study permit it says:

Passport:
Original valid passport only if you require a temporary resident visa (TRV). Your passportr must include a blank page other than the last page OR

Photocopy of the information page of your passport if you do not require a TRV which includes:
- the passport number
-the issuance and expiry dates
-your photo, name, date and place of birth

Do I require a TRV? I mean going to attend a bc university for a period of 4 years.
How do i provide this info if im applying online? mail them my real passport by fed ex?

If I do not require TRV? just scan a copy of passport and thats it?

Also the photos. it says on the back of two photos, write your name and date of birth. Again, do I need to send a real copy of photo by fed ex? or scan it and upload it in the online application.

Thank you!

Depends on if citizens of your country need Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to enter Canada, you can find this online or tell us which country you are from.

yes you require a TRV to enter canada. You will be given Study permit at the port of entry

I already have a TRV valid till 2021 (visitor-business category).

So in that case whilst applying for my student visa, do i have to send my pp or not???

Realistically, what will happen if I dont get my student visa in time, im really worried...

talk to the university. Ask them if you can shift your semester from the fall to the winter . They might oblige

yes you have to send your passport. Now you will be granted student visa. There are three categories of TRV - Work. Student and Visitor. The visa stamped in your passport would be one of these categories. So yes you would need to send your passport.

sorry to bother again, I have another question. in the study permit pdf theres a option to submit all the employement from the past 10 years, I have never been employed and I cannot leave it blank when I validate

If you follow the guide given by CIC you should writ that you were "going to school, preparing for IELTS " this sort of things.

you can make a separate MS word document with a table stating all that you did in the past ten years. Its very helpful. Attach it with the form .
