My partner will be applying for PR under the partner visa (I will be his sponsor). He is Australian, and his current passport expires in August 2019 and he will have to go back to Australia in April 2019 when his working visa expires. He can go to Vancouver to have his passport renewed now, or he can do it when he goes back to Oz. My question is this:
Should he renew ASAP before we submit his application?
Or should we submit his application now and then notify CIC once he has a new passport?
