Part-time status during last 2 terms, and about to apply for PGWP

Hello everyone,

In my last two terms (2019-2020 Fall/Winter), I only have 3 courses left, and one of those courses is available either in winter term or as a yearly course. I took 2 regular 3 credits courses during the fall term, and one 6 credit course in winter terms. Since this course is not available in fall term, I had to take an additional term to finish it. Eventually, I became a part time student for my last two semesters. Can I ask school to provide me with a letter of explanation regarding this situation? I will be graduating after this April, and I hope I could get any advices from here.

The school had nothing to do with you being part-time. You should have taken another course in the fall to remain full-time. With the part-time fall semester, you don't qualify for a PGWP, so you will have to hope that the visa officer gives you a break.

You can ask, but no way to know if it will help your case at this point, its all up to the officer now.
