Parents visitor visa extension

Hello!

I applied for the visitor record for my parents yesterday (they are with me in Canada) and today got an email asking for biometrics. The biometric page says all centres for biometric appointments are closed. I'm thinking that it was an auto-generated message (perhaps based on some criteria).

What should I do? Has anyone else faced this here?

The application will be on hold (and your parents will be on implied status) until centres reopen and they can make an appointment.
