Parents sponsorship - is there any change ????????

Hello All,

Sorry I am not in touch with immigration forum at the moment, and would really appreciate if someone can help with following information,

I wanted to sponsor my mother (I live in Ontario), and waiting for file for this years tax return, once I get NOA from CRA (assessment copy from CRA); this will be continues 3rd year NOA from CRA as required (with eligible income) and expecting to get it sometime in May / June 2016.

Can someone please confirm that if 3 years NOA from CRA is still required or is there any change in the rules?

Basically I would be able to get last required document (copy of NOA from CRA) in May / June and would be able to file in Jan 2017; I hope there are no rule changes as of now ????

Yes 3 years income meeting LICO for your family size, is required for PGP sponsorship. If you have income meeting LICO for 2013, 2014 and 2015, then you can apply in January 2017 (subject to any future rule changes by Liberal government).
