Parents sponsorship - did not pay for biometrics

Hello respected members,
Just sent in my parents sponsorship pr application as I had an invitation to apply.
I paid the fees $1050 each for the application including the right of pr fees. I did not see the biometrics option and hence did not include it (I may have over looked it).
Was that necessary? How can I correct this now?

For spousal applications, they routinely will send biometrics fee request when needed if not paid up front. I presume the same for PGP.
