Thank you for your replies: I have judged myself enough but feel free to judge as well. Having received the invitation to apply for sponsorship for 2019, my parents joined me in Canada so that we could fill out the paperwork together. I was so keen to get these in the mail, and went through the documents checklist, that the day after sending application by xpresspost I found what I think was a copy of the invitation letter. At least, I hope it was a copy. I re-read it and realized I had made one error and possibly 2. First error, which I hope is what I actually did: I did NOT put it at the very top (i.e. on top of the documents checklist), I put it underneath, as I watched the CIC video which said to put the documents checklist on top. Second (possible) error: the letter I found was not a copy but the one meant be included. I had gone through the checklist twice and it was on there, so I think this unlike. I typed a letter to CIC explaining and apologies, took the (copy of?) the invitation letter and a copy of my passport and mailed these in an express post envelope the day after I had mailed the application, which I still believe was complete. 1. will they reject my application if the top form is the document checklist vs the invitation letter or will they skip to page 3 to see it and 2. will they reject my application if the invitation was not in the original application but sent after as I described? I still think this was a copy. I just got so discombobulated thinking I had screwed up that my brain is not working properly. To all: thank you for your attention and replies. I wish all of you success in future applications. I had been applying in the lottery for 3 years. I know there are so many folks out there who deserve to be in the position I am in. I hope I haven't squandered it with my dumb move. I was considering trying to send everything again from scratch before the deadline.....
