Parents Sponsor from Singapore

Hello All,
Is there any thread for the parents sponsor application which is in Singapore. I saw few scattered dicsussion but not many case details or updates. I have checked trackitt.com and they they have only handful number of cases.

I'd really appreciate if you could share your timeline with me as my parents PR application is in Singapore since Sept,2008 and no update since. CIC website says 33 months as processing time and Sinapore office told me it'd be 42 months till they start processing when I sent an email 2 months ago inquiring about the file. Not sure who to follow or I should order CAIPS or is it too early now?

You haven't been approved as a sponsor yet so there would be no CAIPS to access as the file has not yet been opened at the visa office because it is still in line for assessment in Mississauga. There is nothing you can do but try to be patient and wait.

Sorry that I wasn't clear before.
I was approved as a sponsor May 2008 and sent application to Singapore which was received by them Spet,2008.

Ok. Since you are still well within normal processing times for Singapore (44 months) they will not respond to inquiries. You can order CAIPS if you want. What kind of update are you looking for?

when to expect medical call or if they require anything other document or not. Where did get you 44 months as a normal processing time from?

Sorry. Typo. 42 months. The CAIPS won't say when to expect the medical. And if there was anything further required, the VO would request it right away. However, the CAIPS will say when the next bring forward date is.
